Pi Day Cookie Decorating

Duration: 2 hours
Ages: 13+
Led by: Erika Fernando (@paperflourbakery)

If you’ve ever been interested in decorating with royal icing or just want to try your hand at something new, this workshop is for you! You'll learn from Erika Fernando, the baker behind Paper Flour Bakery (@paperflourbakery), who specializes in creating custom sugar cookies for all kinds of milestone celebrations. In this follow-along style workshop, Erika will cover the basics of sugar cookie decorating and even teach you a few pro royal icing techniques. Each station will have the materials to decorate six sugar cookies to celebrate Pi Day (yes we know it’s a math thing, but … pie ... right?!):

  • Cherry slice

  • Blueberry slice

  • Pumpkin slice

  • Apple pie

  • Peach cobbler

  • Mud pie

Takeaway boxes will be provided for your cookies and leftover royal icing. You will also go home with do-it-yourself recipe cards. Any tools should kindly be returned at the end of class.

This workshop is roughly 120 minutes, but please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the class start time to find parking and get situated at your workstation.

This workshop is open to crafters 13 and older.
